Well, I did well on my test even with procrastinating. We haven't got to see our tests yet, but they finally gave us our grades. I love how I've posted three times, and most of it is about school. Can you tell what runs my life right now?

Today, I actually got to craft a little (I LOVE to craft). My mother in law wanted Christmas ornaments with everyone in the family's names on them. She got the idea off of Days of Our Lives. BTW I love the Christmas episode every year because there was a woman named Melissa Horton on there so I have an ornament ;). Anyway, mother in law wanted red bulbs but I couldn't find large enough bulbs that are red. I decided to buy clear bulbs and paint the inside. Too bad I didn't buy enough paint. Looks like my crafting with have to go on for a few more nights.

Tomorrow, in between classes, I get to mentor. I love my mentor, but I didn't even get to do anything last time. Last year, my mentor let me go in the rooms by myself and diagnose the patient then report to him. This year, all I've done is follow the residents and listen. Of course, they consult me when they are documenting since I should be able to remember the mother's age and what diseases the child's father has. But, at least its interesting. Hopefully, we'll see something cool tomorrow. After classes, I have a LCME student meeting. MUSOM is getting re-accredited in 2011 so they need a few students to write a survey and report for the committee then to present to the committee members when they come in March 2011. That seems so far away, but its really not!

Saturday is our last home game. I am torn on whether to go or not. I want to go, but I don't know how many of my friends are going and its a lot of work to get all the tailgating stuff together! On Sunday, quite a few of my sorority sisters are coming over. We are going to lunch then hanging out here. I'm sure it'll be a blast, it always is! I really wish I could see those girls more often but for how busy we all are, we stay in contact pretty well. Thank you facebook!

Well, I started my Christmas shopping. This year, not only am I doing the shopping for Kyle and I, but also for us from Kyle's mom, grandma, and aunt. Kohls is having a big sale and I found a heated mattress pad (from my mom to me and Kyle), our present for Kyle's brother, and an electric razor for Kyle from someone in his family. I got the stuff to make Kyle's mom's gift but just have to get it together. She really wanted Christmas bulbs with everyone's names on them, so I am making them.

I've been slacking on the studying. Its hard after a "test weekend" to not take a lot of time off. We have another test Monday, so I really need to get on the ball! After Monday, I am going to start working on the house more. I want to get the basement painted that week and touch up the bathroom. I have friends coming over on the 22nd, so I want to have a bunch done by then. I can't wait to see everyone again. I wish we could get together more often, but I think we do all right for everyone being so busy with work, families, and school. AND I get the rest of the pictures from my photo shoot that day. My friend Melissa is an AMAZING photographer and took pictures of Kyle and I with Marco and Molly. The six or so I've seen so far have been so good. I can't wait to get them printed off so I can put them up around the house!

I've finally decided to start blogging. We'll see if anyone ever reads it.

This weekend was nice. Friday night, Kyle (my husband) and I stayed in a laid around the house. On Saturday, I had to be at work at 6:30 am. Thankfully, I only have a few more weeks left at the Barrel! Surprisingly, I think I am actually going to miss waiting tables. I've looked forward to quitting for so long. They gave me my 5 years anniversary present there. I got a lapel pin and a CB pen. Nice for 5 years right? They used to have the lapel pin in Tiffany's boxes and gave out nice mantle clocks. Guess its a sign of the economy right? After work, my mom and dad came down to bring us our pool table. My cousin decided to get rid of his, so we were the luck recipients! It makes the basement look more like a game room like we wanted. Mom and I went shopping after that. I only bought a few long sleeved plain shirts to go under sweater/scrubs. Later that night, I went to a classmate's house for a deep fry party. Yeah, a party where we deep fried different foods. Nothing like a healthy meal right? On Sunday, Kyle and I spent the day around the house then went grocery shopping. I finally started studying for the weekend.

Today, I had class until noon then a class liaison meeting afterward. I went to Walmart to get my prescription filled and found tons of 90% Halloween decorations. I stocked up for next year. Then Kyle and I ate dinner. I made saffron rice and thawed some salsa chicken from my cooking day. It was SOO good! I love doing my freezer cooking. It helps out so much with time when I need to study. I don't have to worry about eating leftovers for a week either.
